Last year, I photographed Zuhair's sister's wedding (Manal and Farhaad) and when she reached out and told me there was going to be another wedding in the family, I was so happy to be a part of it. Hina and Zuhair are from different cultural backgrounds- Hina is Indian and Zuhair is Arabic, so they had two different celebrations. I got to be a part of their Arabic reception in Detroit, at the Henry Hotel. It was an evening filled with incredible Middle Eastern food, indoor fireworks, and amazing dancing. Such a good night.
