Oh my, I am just filled with gratitude for all of the amazing couples, families, individuals, vendors and artists I had the opportunity to work with this year. This was my seventh season photographing weddings, and I am as in love with this job as ever. This year held so many wedding ceremonies that made me cry, dance floors where I got to laugh and groove and sweat, friendships forged over coffee dates and through planning emails and amidst the beautiful chaos of wedding days. Each wedding compelled me at some point to pause for a moment, to take in the scene unfolding before me, and to breathe out in gratitude "this is my job." What a gift.
