I met Lauren and Ben a few years ago when I had the honor of photographing their wedding in Grand Rapids. I was so excited last summer to learn that they were expecting, and thrilled that they asked me to photograph their new family. Olive was six weeks old when we got together, and I can't get over how cute her little smile is.
Happy New Year, everyone! It's hard to believe it's already 2016. I am so excited for the couples I will be working with this year, including Erica and Lance. We had the opportunity last week to do two separate shoots together. The first included Lance's adorable daughter, Rae, and their two St. Bernard pups! We braved the cold, and ran around the shore of Lake Michigan at their favorite beach. Later in the week, we braved the even colder weather and did an engagement session in Grand Rapids. Loved hanging out with this crew, and can't wait for Erica and Lance's Detroit wedding this summer! For now, here are a few of my favorite family shots.
