Kaitlin and Isaac originally asked me to photograph their wedding in 2020, but after postponing it to 2021 they opted to have a private celebration with family. They invited me to meet them at the lake for some portraits, just the two of them and the waves. All the best to these two, and here’s to hoping they eventually get to throw their big ol’ disco party. I can’t wait to photograph that dance floor.
I spent a beautiful evening with Courtney and Keanan on the Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive in mid-October. We had so much fun running around in the dunes, and I spent a lot of the evening completely excited about the beautiful fall light. The soft sunlight in October and November is my favorite, and combining that with this fun couple made for the perfect night. Enjoy this glimpse into our evening at one of the most scenic spots in the Sleeping Bear Dunes.
